Reflexology is more than just a foot massage. Reflexology is a method for activating the healing powers of the body. The reflexology system identifies pressure points on the foot that correspond with specific body parts and organs. Manipulation of these pressure points in a systematic and precise method brings a deep sense of peace and relaxation and allows the body to restore and rebalance to a natural state of homeostasis.
In this bodywork treatment the client stays clothed and oils are not used. The practitioner will use the systems of Amma and/or Tui Na bodywork to ease tension. Kneading and compression are used along with acupressure points to promote relaxation and revitalization.
